OFAC Concerns During a Pandemic

Trade sanctions and embargoes under #OFAC still matter and the world continues to change.

There are new Iranian and Venezuelan sanction additions to the SDN list within the last week. There are also calls to amend sanctions, create waivers to combat #covid19 and adjust the #sanctions and #embargo regulations in place.

One of the key concerns is for dual use goods and items that require specific waivers from the US Treasury department such as oxygen generation equipment being sent to Iran.
