#Privacy in the #covid19 Crosshairs? The interesting times we are living in raise #ethics questions about the use of data to protect #health and #safety.
Over the next few weeks and months, one of the big debates I see developing is how to balance fundamental #humanrights to privacy and the #datagovernance and access needed to achieve better health outcomes during this #pandemic.
Contact tracing and health testing will be on the table as part of packages to open up business. It is now that our #values and boundaries will be tested. I would love to hear your thoughts on the developments you are seeing in your jurisdictions. Once you loosen privacy rights to curb the #coronaviruscrisis, can you ever restrict the data again and when is the time for such a restriction?
