ESG and the Compliance Profession

What does #esg have to do with me? Frankly, if you’re working in compliance, ethics and corporate governance, Environmental, Social and Governance is critically important.

One of the biggest areas of impact will be how ESG will continue to be measured and incorporated into efforts across the company.

My own view is that Environmental and Social efforts without a connection to governance is the modern expansion of greenwashing. Without governance, efforts are haphazard at best and often not properly measured and reported.

Time to get coordinating and collaborating better.
